TREE SEEDLING SUPPLY

At GGI, we are focused on sustainable seedling propagation and distribution, enabling stakeholders to catalyze large-scale reforestation and greening efforts. Our seedling nurseries, have the capacity to supply 15 million seedlings, including a variety of indigenous species, fruit trees, and beautification plants.

We prioritize high-quality seedlings propagation by sourcing seeds from Kenya Forest Research Institute (KEFRI). Our nurseries are certified and regularly inspected by Kenya Plant Health Inspectorate Service (KEPHIS), guaranteeing the highest standards for tree seedling quality and source tracking.

Partnerships with Communities Tree Enterprises

Through the Power of Community initiative, we actively work with youth, women, and local groups in the process of building and managing our seedling nurseries. We also collaborate with community seedling prorogation self-help groups who compliment our stocks supplies. In both models we are;

  • Creating green jobs and employment opportunities
  • Stimulating local social enterprising.

In addition to seedling supply, we provide full transport, logistics, and land preparation services to ensure successful planting at your site.

Impacts Created

Our tree seedling production not only generates revenue to support GGI’s programs and initiatives but also contributes to achieving national tree planting targets and advancing Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through our efforts, we align with national ambitions, including commitments under Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), driving impactful climate action.
