Don't Miss Out

Mazingira Day Edition × Conservation Is Fun

A Mazingira Day tree-planting, music and color festival at Oloolua, Karen to celebrate a five-week community river clean-up exercise for Ngong and Kandisi rivers.

The river clean-up started on 9th September 2026, organized by the Water Utility & Conservation user right group of the Oloolua Community Forest Association in collaboration with other partners.

Each clean-up, held on Fridays and Saturdays, brought together more than 100 youth volunteers, local residents, schools, and partners, collectively removing at least 2 tonnes of waste from the river during each clean-up.

Now we want you to join other nature lovers in climaxing the clean-up.

Come with your friends and family, plant trees by morning, celebrate conservation with music and color in the afternoon.
