Kivukoni Eco Festival

Kivukoni Eco Festival was created with a vision to enliven the regenerative movement in Kilifi, and to provide an open and inclusive space for exploration of nature, community and active hope.

Founded by a team of passionate environmentalists at Kivukoni School, the event is going to be a diverse celebration of nature and community, hopefully with around 800 people in attendance from across coastal communities, and further afield too. Other speakers at the event should include Paula Kahumbu, David Obura and Dr Jennifer O’Leary, amongst other prominent names from the Kenyan environmental movement.

The festivals main stage will host panel discussion including with Kenya’s Young Leaders and other renown environmentalist and personalities, discussing global climate and environmental trends including CoP29 and how it relates to Kenya now.

The event will feature an array of music, talks, panel discussions, arts, specialist workshops, kids activities, poetry and much more. There will be a wide range of food & drinks vendors who share our ethos, along with stalls for local environmental businesses.
